Endre Lund Eriksen

Endre Lund Eriksen is an author and associate professor of writing. He is head of the Norwegian Institute for Children’s Books’ Master’s programme in Children’s and Young Adult Literary Writing and Dissemination and leads the department’s artistic development work. Eriksen debuted in 2002 with the children’s book Pitbull-Terje går amok, for which he also received the Ministry of Culture’s Prize. The book was made into a film in 2005. Endre Lund Eriksen has since published a number of books for children, young adults and adults, including the Dunderly books, where humour and deep seriousness go hand in hand. His books have been translated into many languages, and he has also written drama and film scripts. Endre Lund Eriksen will be speaking about humour and children’s literature whilst at the book fair, as well as how to educate writers. There will also be an opportunity to hear him read from and show a film about Dunderley.
