This year there will be a solid Norwegian participation at this book fair. Torstein Helleve will attend to promote the books he has written with Jørn Hurum about prehistoric fossils. And Andreas Tjernshaugen will attend to speak about his books on bird-watching and aquarium-keeping.

The Writers’ Guild of Norway (in Norwegian: Dramatikerforbundet) may award grants for the translation of Norwegian dramatic works to other languages. The primary purpose of the grant scheme is to contribute to the presentation/production of Norwegian drama abroad.
This year’s Gothenburg Book Fair takes place on September 25–29, with drama as one of its main focuses. The Norwegian Centre for New Playwriting – NCNP (Dramatikkens hus) will be participating, hosting an exciting program of Norwegian events.
