The New York office of the Frankfurter Buchmesse, together with Publishing Perspectives, will host the first two-day Children’s Books Salon in New York City.
The aim of the salon is to build a platform where international children’s book publishers can meet each other in person, strengthen their international relationships, learn about new titles, and discuss issues specific to the children’s book market.

The Writers’ Guild of Norway (in Norwegian: Dramatikerforbundet) may award grants for the translation of Norwegian dramatic works to other languages. The primary purpose of the grant scheme is to contribute to the presentation/production of Norwegian drama abroad.
This year’s Gothenburg Book Fair takes place on September 25–29, with drama as one of its main focuses. The Norwegian Centre for New Playwriting – NCNP (Dramatikkens hus) will be participating, hosting an exciting program of Norwegian events.
