Norway is also guest of honour at the Literaturtage Zofingen, and seven Norwegian authors are invited to take part in the festival, which is entirely devoted to Norwegian literature. Audience members are expected to travel there from all over Switzerland. The travelling exhibition, “Georg Grosz meets Ulysses in Slapsefjell,” consisting of no fewer than 30 works by 11 Norwegian illustrators will be shown at the Kunsthaus.
Bjørn Ousland has been invited to take part in a school visit for the whole of week 43, before later meeting “ordinary” visitors at the festival too. On offer to the audience are meet-the-author events with Unni Lindell, Johan Harstad, Ida Hegazi Høyer, Helga Flatland, Gunstein Bakke and Bjørn Ousland, and NORLA’s Andrine Pollen will present an introduction to Norwegian Literature. In November, Eivind Hofstad Evjemo is invited to Aargauer Kantonsbiblitothek along with musician Hildegunn Øiseth.
