CANCELLED: Librarian and press trip to Oslo
The librarian and press trip to Oslo has been cancelled, as has the opening of the new main library in Oslo.
In connection with the opening of the new main library in Oslo, Deichman Bjørvika, approx. 15 librarians and journalists will be coming to Oslo, 25-27 March. The theme of the press trip is joy of reading and libraries. In addition to a guided tour of Deichman Bjørvika, our guests will be visiting several local branch libraries, meet Norwegian authors and organizations who in various ways work with joy of reading. The trip is organized in close collaboration with Deichman and the Norweigan embassies in Berlin, London, Madrid, Paris and Prague.

In collaboration with the Royal Norwegian Embassy in London, NORLA is hosting a special industry event highlighting contemporary Norwegian children’s and young adult literature on November 5.
The event will take place at the Norwegian Ambassador’s Residence.
