Webinar in Italy

In connection with the book fair in Rome, Libri Più Liberi, Italian publishers are invited to take part in a webinar.
The Italy-based literary agent Trude Kolaas, Immaterial Agents, will give an introduction to Norwegian literature and the book industry. And author Olaug Nilssen will participate in a conversation with her agent Gina Winje, Winje Agency.
There will also be an introduction to NORLA’s work and also possible to speed date Norwegian literary agents.

Organized in cooperation with the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Rome.

Norway and NORLA at the Gothenburg Book Fair

NORLA will take part in the Gothenburg Book Fair, September 28– October 1. You will find us in the International Rights Centre, table G05.

For the first time in years there will be a Norwegian stand at the Book Fair, in cooperation with the Norwegian Embassy in Stockholm, Voksenåsen and NORLA. Welcome to stand B05:60!

Foreign publishers may also apply for production subsidies for the publication of Norwegian non-fiction containing a large number of illustrations or with exceptionally demanding technical production requirements.

Focus on Norwegian and Nordic literature for young readers in Serbia

The Department of Scandinavian Studies at the University in Belgrade is organizing an exhibition of Nordic children’s and YA literature translated into Serbian from October 2nd to 8th. They are hosting several smaller events in connection with the exhibition, including panel discussions, book launches, and lectures for students. One of the collaborators is the Norwegian Embassy in Belgrade.
