Marie Aubert at Nordic Literature Night during the Leizig Book Fair
The critically acclaimed Norwegian author Marie Aubert takes part in the event Nordic Literature Night – Nordische Literaturnacht – with four other Nordic authors, during the Leipzig Book Fair.
The event is moderated by Thomas Böhm, and will be streamed on 28 May from 19:00 (CET).

Join a journey of discovery through new releases from Northern Europe during the Nordic Literature Night!

Marie Aubert’s award-winning novel Grown-ups has been translated into German by Ursel Allenstein. Erwachsene Menschen is published by Rowohlt.

Seminar for aspiring translators of Norwegian literature
NORLA aims to recruit more translators of Norwegian Literature. We look forward to welcoming interested participants to take part in our seminar for new translators, which will be held in Oslo from April 23-26, 2025.

Deadline: Nominate candidates for NORLA’s Translator's Award 2025
NORLA annually hands out an award to a talented emerging translator of Norwegian literature. The award is given for translations directly from Norwegian as an encouragement towards continued efforts.
The 2025 award will be given to a translator of fiction.
