On November 18, The Norwegian Consulate General in Shanghai and NORLA host a seminar for Chinese publishers and translators, where invited Norwegian authors, illustrators and literary agents will participate digitally.
Translator Shubo Li will give an introduction about her translation of Inger Hagerup’s collection of children’s poems So Strange and give an introduction to Norwegian literature for young readers. From Norway, authors/illustrators Ole Kristian Løyning, Rebecca Wexelsen, Ella Okstad, Neda Alaei and Lars Henrik Eriksen will participate. Andrine Pollen from NORLA will moderate a conversation with the Norwegian participants.
The seminar will be held even though the CCBF, China Shanghai International Children’s Book Fair is postponed from 19-21 November to March 20-22, 2022, due to the pandemic.
NORLA will participate at the book fair with a stand staffed by the Consulate General.
