From December 1-4, NORLA and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in Mexico will once again be present with a stand at the Guadalajara Book Fair in Mexico, which is the world’s largest Spanish-speaking book fair.
Munch Publishing will participate by presenting its books on Edvard Munch and by networking in Mexico. The publisher Camino Forlag, which publishes a significant amount of Latin American literature, will also attend the book fair.
Author Marta Breen has been invited by the book fair and will travel to both Guadalajara and Mexico City. She will first head to Mexico City, to take part in events at a university, a bookstore, and at the Royal Norwegian Embassy.
In Guadalajara, Breen will meet with the public at the book fair and also visit a local school.

This year’s festival- and program theme is Europe, and festival runs from June 1 through June 7.
The participants will also be meeting Agnes Ravatn, as well as having a translation workshop based on an excerpt from her novel Doggerland, which is among NORLA’s Selected Spring titles.
NORLA has the pleasure of inviting foreign publishers and editors of non-ficiton literature to apply for our fellowship program, which this year will take place in Oslo from June 16 – 19.
