Translators of Norwegian literature are invited to apply for two-week stays at Hotell Bondeheimen, which is centrally located in downtown Oslo and close to many central cultural institutions.
Please note that the offer is only available for translators who translate directly from Norwegian, and who have translated at least two titles.
Application deadline for stay May 11-24 is March 13, 12:00 (CET)

The London Book Fair (LBF) is one of the largest and most important international trade fairs for the book and publishing industry, where the entire global publishing and media community comes together to make deals, network, and explore future content and trends.
NORLA is looking forward to gathering ten translators of Norwegian literature in Lillehammer June 2-5, as we do annually for the Norwegian Festival of Literature / Sigrid Undset Days.
This year the theme of the festival program is Europe.
The festival runs from June 1 through June 7.
Last year, Norway was the guest country at the Leipzig Book Fair. The appearance was — both in terms of numbers and in the overwhelming response — a great success. This year as well, NORLA is once again presenting contemporary and classic literature from Norway at Germany’s most important public book fair.
