Bzzz. The World's Smallest Bank Robbery

BZZZ. Verdens minste bankran

A funny, original and action-packed book, perfect for both reading aloud or for children who read alone. With humorous illustrations on every page, this book also appeals to greedy guzzlers of cartoons. This is the story of mosquito 93, who lives together with countless other mosquitoes in a hollow tree trunk in the woods. Every day, the girls head out to suck some blood, because only girl mosquitoes do that, while 93 and the other boy mosquitoes stay at home and loaf around. But one day the girls decide they’ve had enough, and send the boys out on a raid. On their hunt for blood and easy pickings, the boys stumble upon something called the Blood Bank. Here, stealing is a piece of cake! Or, erm, perhaps it isn’t as easy as it looks. The hospital is being watched by an angry guard, and the blood is kept in a huge glass cabinet. How will they get their hands on it, let alone manage to get their treasure home?
Wise old Mozze (who is ancient – maybe even five weeks old!) designs a crafty scheme involving fire alarms, a diamond ring, a terrifying bat, and last not but not least – all the mosquitoes working together.
At the back of the book, you’ll find information about both the Blood Bank and about mosquitoes.
