I Shall Tell You is sequel to Eg er på veg (I’m Pregnant), which is about Donna on holiday in Majorca. There she meets José and becomes pregnant. In I Shall Tell You Donna has decided to keep the baby and has a daughter now. But she hasn’t told anyone who the father of little Josephine is. Then she gets a holiday invitation to Majorca, the same place where she met José the previous year. Will she meet him again? If she does, should she tell him that the little girl is his? Donna’s memories are intense.

Helga Gunerius Eriksen has written a number of books for children and three for adults, Dersom du (If you, 1994) and Kvadratiske konturar (Quadratic Contours, 1998), in addition to three previous novels about Donna. The author won the Brage Prize for a picture book for children in 2003. I’m pregnant was nominated to the Critic’s Prize for the best children’s and young adult book in 2006.
