Pool People
Bløte folk
Saturdays are Pelle’s favorite day of the week because that’s when he and mom visit the swimming pool together. This particular Saturday is special—they’ve planned to take a daring jump from the highest diving board. However, when mum suddenly disappears, Pelle finds himself searching through a bustling maze of swimmers, colorful swimsuits, and floating toys to find her.

‘Pool People is the easiest thing in the world to recommend; it bursts with visual imagination and joy for storytelling. […] Moen’s illustrations provide enormous sensory stimulation. […] It’s an impressive piece of illustration work. […] completely impossible not to be charmed by the drawings. […] above all, the picture book conveys an inclusive warmth that celebrates the imperfect, which is indeed perfect.’

’ […] Kjersti Synneva Moen hammers on the door to high society, and I wonder if we with Pool People simply are talking about peak search-and-find book. […] Pool People is one of the most charming and impressive additions [to the search-and-find books] I have seen in a while.’
