Manual for Master Thieves. The World’s Craziest Heists

Håndbok for Mestertyver. Virkelighetens villeste tyverier

How did the thieves manage to accomplish their crimes? What happened to the stolen treasures? And how did the thieves end up? This book gives you the answers to these and many other questions you may have about the world of master thieves!

You’ve probably seen them in movies: the master thieves who trick the world’s smartest alarms, steal expensive paintings and disappear into thin air – without leaving a single trace. But who are the master thieves in real life?

Meet the man who stole Mona Lisa – the world’s most famous painting. Discover the gang behind the world’s biggest diamond heist, and the cat burglar known as Spider-Man. Read about the greatest bank robberies and the hundred-kilo gold coin that simply disappeared. And not to mention the latest robbery at the Louvre in Paris that took place as in October 2025!

The book is richly illustrated by Bård Sletvold Torkildsen.
