Frenzy speaks the truth is a hilarious picture book exploring lies that can be good, even necessary, and lies that are just crazy and need to be exposed. Francis’ family brag about always being honest. In fact, Francis’ big sister Angelica wears a halo to remove any doubt. But Francis knows better. They are all lying – for one, about what they think about the buns the neighbour brought over for tea (the most rock hard buns since the Stone Age). Francis has had it with the hypocrisy. He turns into Frenzy, and goes on a spree to reveal the white, grey and black lies we all tell – from where Mum hides her boogies to what the Prime Minister truly uses the tax money for.
