Bloodrich and The Blood Factory

Blodrik og blodfabrikken

Illustrated by the author.

A warm and funny story about the lonely, blood filled giant Bloodrich who finds a friend. Bloodrich is so full of blood that he has to be tapped by the mosquito every day. The blood is used in the blood factory to make all sort of red things: Christmas decorations, ketchup, nail varnish and fake blood.

One day, a girl with a heart-shaped face appears on their doorsteps and asks Bloodrich and the mosquito if they can help her with a difficult task, which is to get hold of a new heart for her dead dog. Together they make a grandiose plan to transport a heart to the dog and the heavens, but nothing goes according to plan! A book about friendship, inventiveness and potent ketchup!
