The Magic Chalk

Trollkrittet

When John picks up a piece of chalk which had fallen out of Mrs. Monsen the witch’s pocket, he finds that he can draw himself some magical adventures. A delightful patchwork of fancy, puzzles, poetry, and nonsense, this is the story of a little boy, who with a bit of chalk, conjures up a world. John draws his new friend, Sofus, and a portal to a world of picaresque adventures.
