Meet autumn’s ‘New Voices’

Norway is Guest of Honour at the Frankfurt Book Fair in 2019. Bringing forth new literary voices internationally is an important goal of the initiative. NORLA has entered into the development program, New Voices, in collaboration with Talent Norway and the Norwegian Publishers’ Association. The program will create a space for highlighting areas of the rich literary underground.

During the autumn, the five participants will be offered courses and training in Oslo, and also the opportunity to put it into practice at festivals and book fairs. The participants will be provided with individual programs and will meet translators, publishers and audiences; in cities such as Gothenburg, Osaka, Tokyo and Kyoto, Frankfurt, Madrid and Moscow.
