She had translated no less than approximately 50 Norwegian titles, by contemporary authors like Jostein Gaarder, Linn Ullmann, Chris Tvedt, Tom Egeland, Nina E. Grøntvedt and Gudrun Skretting.
In addition to these, she has also translated a number of classics, among them Ibsen, Bjørnson, Hamsun, Vesaas, Heyerdahl and Anne-Cath. Vestly.

In 1997, Natalia founded the Nordic Centre at the Ivan Franko National University in Lviv, where she now holds the position of Vice Director. And she is still a lecturer of Norwegian and German at the University’s Faculty of International Relations, Department for Foreign Languages.
Through her position at the university she has greatly contributed towards the Ukrainian students’ increased interest in Norwegian language, literature and culture. Several of her students have also become translators.
