All applications for translation subsidies are evaluated and approved by NORLA’s two experts committees, one committee for fiction and one committee for non-fiction.

For other grant schemes, allocation is made by NORLA’s specialist committee. As of 2022, the committee members are Margit Walsø, Andrine Pollen, Oliver Møystad, Dina Roll-Hansen and Janicken von der Fehr. When necessary, the specialist committee will seek external expertise.
