All applications for translation subsidies are evaluated and approved by NORLA’s two experts committees, one committee for fiction and one committee for non-fiction.

Other grant schemes
For other grant schemes, allocation is made by NORLA’s specialist committee, in monthly meetings. As of 2025, the committee members are Margit Walsø, Andrine Pollen, Oliver Møystad and Tanja Feodoritova. When necessary, the specialist committee will seek external expertise.
