September 1 is the application deadline for translators of Norwegian literature regarding stays at NORLA’s Translators hotel autumn 2019 (weeks 46-47, i.e. as of Monday September 11th through Sunday September 24th).
Please note that the offer is only available for translators who translate directly from Norwegian.
The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs have contributed towards the scheme.

NORLA has the pleasure of inviting foreign publishers and editors of non-ficiton literature to apply for our fellowship program, which this year will take place in Oslo from June 16 – 19.
Last year, Norway was the guest country at the Leipzig Book Fair. The appearance was — both in terms of numbers and in the overwhelming response — a great success. This year as well, NORLA is once again presenting contemporary and classic literature from Norway at Germany’s most important public book fair. Norwegian children’s and young adult literature is rich in both expression and genres and addresses a wide range of themes that engage readers of all ages.
