Mentor Scheme

Starting in the spring of 2014, NORLA has the pleasure of being able to offer a special mentor scheme for translators of Norwegian literature.

The mentor scheme is an initiative intended to support competency enhancement on the part of translators. The scheme has two target groups:

1) Experienced translators seeking to recharge their professional batteries/seeking inspiration or who are facing new challenges, a new genre,
a new language and who are seeking help in addressing these.
2) Beginners who are struggling with fundamental questions and who need help in avoiding the most common translation pitfalls.

Please note that this scheme is restricted to applicants who translate directly from Norwegian.
