Strålende anmeldelser til den engelske utgaven av Gunnhild Øyehaugs "Knutar"
Gunnhild Øyehaugs novellesamling Knutar, som utkom på 2004, ble nettopp utgitt på engelsk, under tittelen Knots, av det velrenommerte forlaget Farrar, Straus & Giroux i New York, oversatt av Kari Dickson. Mottakelsen har vært overveldende og toppet seg denne uken da James Wood, den mest innflytelsesrike kritikeren i USA, kåret Gunnhild Øyehaug til «a Norwegian master of the short story» i en panegyrisk omtale av Knots i siste utgave av The New Yorker.
Og det er ikke bare James Wood som priserd Øyehaug og Knots:
