The snake in the grass

Slangen i gresset

A little bunny comes hopping along. He’s happy because the big, wide world is so lovely! Full of sun and carrots and juicy leaves. But a green snake is lying in wait in the grass. Is it a cobra? Or a nasty rattlesnake? The snake is good at spitting water, and brilliant at lying.

A lovely, riotous story about discovering the world, both the one inside us and the one outside.

Gry Moursund (b. 1969) is one of Norway’s finest illustrators, living in Berlin. She has made several picture books together with Hans Sande.
