I am Jakub, and this book is about me. Three things you need to know before you read on: 1) I don’t believe in hell, which is lucky as fuck, bc I would 100% end up there. 2) I have absolutely no feelings for Simon, seriously. 3) That rumour about me is greatly exaggerated.

I regret nothing is about 15 year old Jakub, a second generation Polish immigrant living in Norway. Growing up in a strict Catholic household, he is more concerned with partying and hooking up with boys than preparing for his Confirmation and acting straight. But as he tries to be both a fun gay best friends to the popular girls, a charming (lowkey fuckable) dude to the guys he meets, and dealing with his family’s expectations at the same time, his life is becoming more and more like the hell he refuses to believe in.
