“We’ve never been the kind of people who can just do as we please.”

Johannes and his friends have it all. They live in luxury, they’re more attractive and wealthier than anyone else, and their lives are already mapped out. But their parents expect them to study before stepping into the family businesses.
Now it’s summer, and Johannes is heading to the French Riviera to spend the holiday in his best friend August’s sprawling villa. The group’s only plan is to party, lounge by the pool, and escape their parents.
But an unexpected summer fling changes the way Johannes views his life. Does he really want the future that’s been laid out for him? Does he truly belong with the friends he’s known since childhood? What does it mean if he suddenly has to change everything?

Don’t Look Now is a novel about the pivotal choices we face when standing on the threshold of adulthood. It’s a story of friendship, sex, expectations, and pressure—and the consequences of the decisions we make.
